Is a slingshot a practical for self defense?
Slingshots are a tiny hand-propelled projectile weapon: a snorkel, Shanghai, Flip, Bean Shooter, or Hand Catapult. The phrase wrist rocket is a registered mark of Saunders Archery, which is occasionally generally used to represent any slingshot. The classical shape is a Y frame with two rubber stripes connected to the rectangular structure. On the opposite ends of the strips, the projectile is kept in a pocket. The pocket is grabbed and pulled back to the proper degree to give the shot with force (up to a total span of the arms with sufficiently long bands).
Not all slingshots are equal. Thus not all slingshots in every country are lawful. Moreover, the shot is not intended for self-protection. However, when assaulted with a knife or an empty hand, it is the sole thing in hand, better than empty hands.
